In the Beginning
Okanagan Apple Essence was founded in the Ohm family garage in 1995 with the goal of creating the best quality non-alcoholic beverage on the market. After two years of research and development Okanagan Apple Essence hit the market with Sparkling Apple.
Over the next 23 years the brand grew dramatically, production was re-located to streamline systems and 4 additional flavour were added to the line up: Fresh Peach; Orchard Pear; Ripe Raspberry; and Wild Cherry. It is currently sold in hundreds of location from BC to Manitoba.
Today
As the Ohm family stepped back from operations in 2018, JR Beverages became the new owners of Okanagan Apple Essence. Richard and Justin are continuing to produce the high-quality non-alcoholic beverages that so many have come to love over the past few decades. They have taken feedback from loyal customers and made tweaks to the products to ensure they meet fan’s tastes.
